Your deadline calendar
The dates that actually apply to you, counted down, and ready for your phone.
Missing a filing deadline is the most expensive avoidable thing a small business does. A late tax return is £100 before anybody has worked out whether you owe any tax at all, and late company accounts start at £150 and climb to £1,500.
None of it is complicated. It is just easy to lose track of. So work your dates out once, put them in your phone, and stop carrying them around in your head.

Fair questions
Are these dates right for my business?
They are the standard statutory dates for the type of business you describe. Your own position can differ - a short first accounting period, a changed year end, a non-standard VAT stagger or an agreed time to pay arrangement all move things. Check with us before relying on any single date.
What does the calendar file do?
It downloads a standard .ics file. Open it and your phone or computer adds each deadline as an all-day event with a reminder two weeks before. It works with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and Outlook.
Why is the Corporation Tax payment before the return?
Because that is genuinely how it works, and it catches people out every year. The tax is payable nine months and one day after your year end, but the CT600 is not due until twelve months after. You have to work out what you owe before the return is filed.
