You run the business. We’ll handle HMRC.

Bring us the bank statements and the bag of receipts. We do the rest, for a price agreed in writing before we start.

We will sit down with you, including Saturdays

If you drive all week, or the shop does not close, a Tuesday afternoon is not much use. So we open the office on a Saturday when someone needs to come in — ask, and we will arrange a time. Ring or message first, and we will have your file ready when you get here.

What we do

The whole of a small business’s tax year, in one place

From the first invoice to the filed accounts. If you are not sure which of these you need, that is a fine reason to ring us.

Limited company accounts and Corporation Tax

Year-end accounts under FRS 105 or FRS 102 1A, filed at Companies House, with the CT600 and computation to HMRC.

Self Assessment tax returns

Sole traders, drivers, company directors, landlords and CIS subcontractors. We can work from bank statements alone.

VAT

Registration, the Standard, Flat Rate and Cash Accounting schemes, partial exemption, and MTD-compliant filing.

Payroll and CIS

RTI submissions, payslips, auto-enrolment, P60s and P11Ds, and CIS returns for contractors and subcontractors.

Bookkeeping

Monthly or quarterly. Photographs of receipts and PDF bank statements are fine - you do not need software.

Company formation and Companies House

Incorporation, registered office, confirmation statements and director changes, kept on time.

Who we help

We know your trade before you explain it

A driver’s Uber statement, a takeaway’s Just Eat remittance and a letting agent’s statement all have the same trap in them: the money that reaches your bank is not your turnover. Getting that wrong is the single most common error we correct.

How it works

Four steps, and you only do the first one

  1. Tell us what you need

Call, WhatsApp, or send the form. Five minutes on the phone is usually enough for us to understand the job. There is no charge for asking.

  2. We quote a fixed price, in writing

Agreed before any work starts. It does not move afterwards, and there is no hourly creep and no surprise invoice at the end.

  3. Send the records however they come

PDF bank statements, photographs of receipts, a folder of Uber or Just Eat remittances, or a carrier bag brought in on a Saturday. You do not need accounting software.

  4. We prepare it, you approve it, we file it

Nothing goes to HMRC or Companies House until you have seen it and said yes. You get the numbers explained in plain English, not just a PDF.

Work it out yourself

Answers before you ring anybody

Most accountancy sites make you fill in a form before they will tell you anything. We would rather you had the answer. These run in your own browser — nothing is stored, tracked, or sent to us, and there is nothing to sign up for.

April 2027

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is coming

If you are a sole trader or a landlord over the income threshold, one tax return a year becomes quarterly updates to HMRC from April 2027. It is the biggest change to Self Assessment in a generation, and the year to get your records straight is this one.

Common questions

Before you ring

My records are a mess. Is that a problem?

No. Most of our work arrives as bank statements and a bag of receipts, and that is what we are built for. We would rather see everything untidy than a tidy version with things missing.

How much will it cost?

We agree a fixed price in writing before we start. Our published prices are a starting point; a five-minute call is usually enough for us to give you a firm figure.

Do I need to come into the office?

Only if you want to. Plenty of clients send everything by email or WhatsApp and never visit. If you would rather sit down with someone, ask and we will arrange a time - including a Saturday, if that is what suits you.

I have not filed for a couple of years. Can you help?

Yes, and the sooner the better - HMRC penalties build up with time, and late returns are a routine part of what we do. We can tell you where you stand before you commit to anything.

Tell us what you need

A five-minute call is usually enough for us to quote you a fixed price. No charge for asking.
